Fieldtrips 
    This fall schedule your group for a mini-tour and fieldtrip of our berry farm.  It is $5/person.  Fieldtrips start with a mini-talk on how berries grow and our farm, a tour of our farm and end with picking a 1/2 pint of raspberries to take home.  Juice box and/or bottled water for an additional $1.  Email Shelly at mitchellsberries@embarqmail.com for more details.

New Sculpture on the Farm
 Last fall we had a local chainsaw carver come to the farm and bring art to our old parking lot stump.  One piece shows our beginning with sweet corn and also our featured products raspberries and strawberries.  We hope you'll enjoy our new art on the farm.

 OUR FARM TRUCK

     Most successful companies have a branded image that reminds you of their product when you see it.  A few years ago the Weiner mobile celebrated its 70^th year representing Oscar Meyer wieners is a familiar example.  
     Mitchell’s Berries has a similar image to remind you of our products, a 1954 Chevy 3100.  You will see our farm truck at the berry patch, the farm markets we attend and parades.  We hope you enjoy the nostalgic feel the old truck brings to mind.  We are reminded of a slower, simpler time when friends and neighbors shared the bounty of a successful growing season.  So Come Taste the Difference at Mitchell’s Berries, and make your own memories down on the farm.  Just look for the old Chevy farm truck and enjoy!  

OUR STARS

Chandler-Our strawberry variety that arrives early in mid-May.  Very red, big and awesome flavor.  You won't want another berry after you taste these!!
Jewell-A variety of black raspberry that arrives first on the scene in late June.  The fruit is glossy black in color, a large size, and has a rich raspberry flavor. It is an excellent choice for use in jams and jellies.
Mac Black-A variety of black raspberry that follows Jewell into July.  They have excellent flavor and good size.
Royalty-Our purple variety of raspberry which comes late season along with Mac Blacks.  It has large high quality berry and is the sweet. Good for fresh eating and excellent for jams and jellies.  Taste like cotton candy. 
Polana-Our first variety of red raspberry that comes into play early August.  Polans berries are large, glossy in appearance with good flavor.
Caroline-This is our main red raspberry with a large berry with rich, full, and intense raspberry flavor. Caroline peaks late August and goes until frost.  Great picking in September!
Anne-This raspberry is pale yellow color and is excellent size, and very sweet flavor.  Makes a great accent with red and black raspberries!
