This fall schedule your group for a mini-tour and fieldtrip of our berry farm. It is $5/person. Fieldtrips start with a mini-talk on how berries grow and our farm, a tour of our farm and end with picking a 1/2 pint of raspberries to take home and a juice box. (No substitutions)

New Variety of Red Raspberries
Meet Polana is a variety from Poland. It's berries are highly productive, large, glossy in appearance, coherent, with good flavor. These berries are more firm than our Caroline that will work beautifully in jams, pies and other baked goods.
Polanas will be ready for peak picking the end of July. Come give them a taste!

U-Pick Strawberries
Coming Spring of 2011. We will be opening a 1 acre patch of U-pick Strawberries. This is an expansion of Jake's Berries. Watch for opening day in mid-May 2011 
OUR FARM TRUCKMost successful companies have a branded image that reminds you of their product when you see it. A few years ago the Weiner mobile celebrated its 70th year representing Oscar Meyer wieners is a familiar example.
Mitchell’s Farm has a similar image to remind you of our products, a 1954 Chevy 3100. You will see our farm truck at the berry patch, the farm markets we attend and parades. We hope you enjoy the nostalgic feel the old truck brings to mind. We are reminded of a slower, simpler time when friends and neighbors shared the bounty of a successful growing season. So Come Taste the Difference at Mitchell’s Farm, and make your own memories down on the farm. Just look for the old Chevy farm truck and enjoy!
